In addition to the race to the Zbraslav-Jíloviště hill and the Grand Prix on the Masaryk Circuit, one of the three greatest legends of interwar Czechoslovak motor sport was the 1000 miles of Czechoslovak race, organized by the Autoclub of the Czechoslovak Republic in 1933, 1934 and 1935 on the roads between Prague and Bratislava.
After preliminary reports in the club newspaper AutokluB, the Autoclub of the Czechoslovak Republic announced its intention to organize a competition of 1000 miles for passenger cars on June 10 and 11, 1933, including the basic propositions of the competition and conditions of participation, in its magazine Auto in February 1933. The company was built as a track. Prague - Brno - Bratislava - Brno - Prague with the fact that this line was without interruption twice. Altogether, approximately 1,600 kilometers of driving without a break, made more difficult by the fact that the competition was started in the afternoon and its significant part therefore took place overnight. The company was declared as a competition, but it was immediately clear from the propositions that it was in fact a high-speed race on open roads, where the term open should be understood that the competition track is not closed to other road users.
