The introduction of the pair of Ferrari 499Ps mark 50 years since the Prancing Horse last fielded a factory-backed prototype in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. The Hypercar that raced with the number 50 as a tribute will start in pole position after Antonio Fuoco banked the fastest lap in the half-hour shootout, with its sister car #51 starting right behind it.
