Audi V8 quattro DTM 1990
Hand-drawn sketch digitally painted
100 x 75 cm
In 1990, Audi made a powerful entry into the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) with the Audi V8 quattro. The team built four race-prepped cars, and Hans-Joachim Stuck won the championship in the debut season with seven victories. His winning car is shown here. In 1991, Frank Biela continued the legacy, winning the DTM title with the same model. Over time, the V8 engine’s power increased from 420 to 442 hp at 9000 rpm, making it one of the most formidable cars in the series.
A race car, adorned with various sponsor logos and sporting the number 44, speeds along the track. The scene is dynamic, with a vibrant crowd in the background captured in a stylized manner.
